I know we’re quite far into the New Year now, it’s barely new now but still, Happy New Year!
Hope all of you are having a good start to 2016 and enjoying it! I’ve had a pretty rough start to it, I’m not gonna lie to you all. There’s a lot of things going on in my personal life that I’m not going to go into, it’s just hard being an adult sometimes, y’know? Anyway, aside from the piles of paperwork I’m dealing with, I’ve just been so busy I’ve not had a chance to write on here, as much as I want to. I miss having a connection to you all, even though a lot of you still come back to see what’s going on here.
Today, I wanted to share some outfit ideas for the new year with you guys. They’re all pretty versatile, can be dressed up or down and are pretty flexible. Since new year for a lot of people means changes, mixing something up in your everyday wardrobe could just be it for you!
A camel coat has been the perfect staple piece for a few years now and if you find the perfect one for you, never let it go! I still haven’t found the perfect one that fits me like a glove and in the shade that makes me look like I’ve walked out of the pages of Vogue even if I just walked out of a supermarket. I like adding pops of colour like adding the red clutch which will make the whole outfit look so much more interesting and definitely doesn’t clash.

If you’re heading to some late night celebrations, be it an engagement party or date night without the kids, this outfit is fail-proof. You’ll be warm and comfortable but still look stylish and like you’re ready to party. Of course, the infamous rose gold colour was the key to this outfit and it works so well for day and nighttime.
To finish on a more casual note, boyfriend jeans are every fashionista’s go-to piece for chic casual outfits. Of course, they have to be worn with the right thing. In this outfit, I put some gorgeous caged pointed stilettos with the jeans base to chic it up a bit. The glitter top and nails add an interesting texture and paired with the wool blanket poncho, it can be anyone’s go-to look.
I hope you all enjoyed these outfit ideas and let me know in the comments which one is your favourite! What’s your go-to look for this time of the year? What changes are you going to try to bring into your style? Let me know!
I’m slowly getting back into the blogging world after a completely hectic start to the year so soon, daily updates will continue on my social media:

I like all of these outfit options but the one with the clashing prints is my favourite!
