It’s getting closer and closer to summer and the people who are thinking of nothing except from counting down the days they go to a festival – this one is for you. Someone asked me to help them with what to wear at a festival so if that’s you, have a look at my 5 festival outfit suggestions that can be worn to any festival!
If you haven’t heard of temporary tattoos yet, you’re hearing about them now! They’re the hottest trend for this summer and the easiest way to transform your body without any permanence. Waterproof and sparkly, they’re simply great! And there is no way you can loose them at a festival which makes them great. The midi rings, another mini-trend the last couple of seasons are a go-to interesting and beautiful accessory. The outfit is simple itself with fringed black shorts (another trend alert!) and a cool black tank which would make this outfit perfect if you want to give out a cool vibe. But what would festivals be without fun? I added a flower crown and some fun Wildfox sunglasses to complete this look.
This set is perfect for all the metal and rock fans out there, if you’re getting ready for Download this year, make sure to bag some ah-mazing garter leggings like these from Pink Queen at only £10, you can’t go wrong! I paired them with a simple slogan T-shirt and for the ultimate biker-chick look, the leather jacket to top it off. All accessories are kept simple, raw and in monochromatic and metallic shapes. Of course, this outfit wouldn’t be complete without a classic pair of Dr. Martens.
If your festival choice is more toned down than Download, you’re probably going to go for the boho look and for the perfect Coachella-esque look, go for a simple cold-shoulder patterned dress, throw on some bangles, flip flops and a floppy hat and you’re ready! There’s nothing difficult about this look and it looks so amazingly boho, it’s great! Oh and don’t forget your seventies style sunnies!
As we all know suede and crochet are the most coveted textures this season and there’s nothing stopping you from putting them together and having fun at a festival in them! I put an interesting tassel belt on the shorts to accent the waist and chose to put bohemian (or borderline hippy) accents with the shoes and necklace. The fabulous Chanel backpack is the borderline hippy part I’m talking about, it’s cool and couture! To give a bit of glamour to the outfit, I finished it off with the lovely gold earrings.
This festival outfit can be worn to any festival, it has it all: the ripped-denim shorts, fringe-detail sandals and top as well as lots of fun accessories. The top, shorts and sandals are an obvious match but paired with the drawstring backpack and bohemian accessories, the whole outfit becomes fun. Of course, it wouldn’t be a festival outfit without some sunnies and a flower crown!
And if you’re not going to a festival this summer, you can still rock city streets with these outfits!
Let me know what you think about these outfits and which ones are your favourites!
